Guidelines for in-office visits during the COVID-19 pandemic

If you have any of the following symptoms, please STAY HOME and contact our office to discuss alternative appointment options:

              Shortness of breath/difficulty breathing, coughing,

body shakes/chills, fever, muscle aches, headache,

sore throat, new sudden loss of taste or smell.

Please be advised that your in-office visit is voluntary and the Telebehavioral health (video) alternative is available.

In compliance with Governor Abbott’s executive order GA-18, we ask individuals entering our office to follow our check-in procedure below in addition to all required health and safety protocols.

  • Please wear a face covering or mask to your appointment.

  • Please attend your appointment unaccompanied. Minors accompanied by one parent or guardian.

  • Please remain in your vehicle when you arrive.

  • Call our office at 956-230-1210, or Text us at 956-238-8884, to let us know you have arrived for your appointment. Inform staff at that time if you have come into contact with a person who is lab-confirmed to have COVID-19.

  • Please remain in your vehicle until you are contacted by our office staff after you’ve checked in. Once your clinician is ready to see you, we will call you so that you may enter the office.

Once in the office please...

  • Wash your hands prior to and after your appointment

  • Maintain a 6ft distance from others

  • Wear a face covering or mask

  • Practice cough/sneeze etiquette (into your elbow)

  • Allow your clinician to open and close the therapy room door

  • Use the in-office hand sanitizer during the session as needed

In order to keep everyone's health and safety as our top priority,

we reserve the right to refuse service if these guidelines are not met.

Rest assured that our staff will also be practicing the same health and safety protocols.

In addition, our office staff will be taking the following extra precautions:

  • The glass door and hall door will remain open to minimize contact

  • We will be disinfecting high-touch surfaces such as door handles, tables, chairs, and restrooms or any other items that come into contact with clients or staff.

  • Hand sanitizer, soap and water will be readily available to clients and employees.

  • Your clinician will be scheduling your follow up appointment.

  • Appointment times will be staggered to avoid crowding in the common office spaces.

  • Reading materials, coloring books, etc. will be removed from the waiting area. The water cooler will be off for the time being. Please ask Clarissa, our staff assistant, for water.

                                                                                 THANK YOU!!!
