Natalie Gonzales, M.Ed.
Licensed Professional Counselor - Associate*

Hi there! My name is Natalie Gonzales, and I was born and raised in Harlingen, Texas.
I graduated from the University of Texas - Rio Grande Valley with a Master of Education in Counseling, specializing in Clinical Mental Health. I have experience working with children, adolescents, and young adults in a variety of settings including shelters, clinics, outpatient mental health, and within the school system. I also work closely with the youth and young adults in our community through my church.
One of the most important aspects of counseling is the therapeutic relationship. I truly value building genuine rapport and believe this begins by creating a space where you can feel safe to share your thoughts and feelings freely. For those who may desire it, I am also comfortable integrating a faith-based perspective into counseling, allowing your personal beliefs to be a meaningful part of the work we do together. Ultimately, I am committed to helping you feel understood and supported while we collaboratively work to navigate life transitions and challenges by building on your existing strengths to achieve your goals.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, my church community, and of course, my fur babies. I especially love a good beach day, game night, traveling, or relaxing with a good show or movie.
Thank you for taking the time to learn a little more about me. I would be grateful for the opportunity to work with you!
